This Friday, Matt Black & The Phat Cats are playing at Swing Pit Live! 9pm, $15 social - also a performance by the Harbour City Hoppers troupe. Dom James & the Dixie Ticklers (UK) are in town for a series of gigs, catch them Friday for lunch at the Sydney Flying Squadron, Milsons Point. Sunday, The Dixie Ticklers will be at Cronulla RSL, 12:30pm, and it's FREE. Then they're on again at Camelot Lounge, Marrickville, 7:30pm, $25 pre-sale, $30 at door. The Moods are back at Avalon Beach Bowling Club, 3pm, if you're in the area. Next Thursday, try something different at Camelot Lounge with Chasing the Moon, 7pm (see blog for a listen); and Emma Pask will be at Blue Beat, Double Bay, 8:30pm. (Reminder, there is NO Juke Joint next Thursday, it will be on the 8th instead.)
