There's plenty on this weekend! This Thursday, try something different at Camelot Lounge with Chasing the Moon, or head over to Blue Beat to see Emma Pask. Friday, Cherry Poppin' Daddies are at the Factory Theatre, Marrickville; Jive Bombers at Club Bondi Junction, and if you want to stay out late there's Church Street Blues at Mars Hill Cafe at Parramatta. Saturday, dash over to Swing at the Roxbury, Glebe for a healthy dose of swinging out and catching up; Swings and Round-a-bouts is on at Club Five Dock RSL featuring various bands (see below); Cherry Poppin' Daddies make another appearance, this time at The Vanguard, Newtown. Sunday, at the Unity Hall is Dan Barnett's big band; Geoff Bull will be cutting it at the East Sydney Hotel; or if you want to be outdoors there's Jazz in the Park, Gladstone Park, Darling St, Balmain; down at Bondi Beach there's the filming for iCharleston if you want to join in, set your alarms. Next Thursday (8th), Juke Joint at the Bedlam Bar, Glebe, for your blues fix, with special guest teachers Jase S and Sam S for the class at 7.30pm. ... Ready, set, ... GO!!!
